I dont know if this is a good solution, but one of the old synaptic drivers has a three finger gesture for going back and forth in a webpage that works similar to the two finger gesture in MacOS. That way there'll be no previous page to go back to. Make the specific page open in a new tab/window by default (by putting target="_blank"> in hyperlink).
